My Home Page: G. Bruce Rodgers

Hello fellow Internet surfer and welcome to my very simple and uncomplicated home page.
I'm very glad that you made it this far . . . and I hope that you'll stick around long enough to get to know just a little bit more about me and my life.

This is me.

My Background
I grew up in the small, adjacent  towns of Geneseo and Groveland, New York, adjacent small towns
in Upstate Western NY,about 30 miles south of Rochester.
I went to Geneseo Central School, graduating way back in 1978, then went to school at SUNY Potsdam,
where I graduated in Dec 1983 with a sheet of paper that said I was a computer dude.
After getting married and a brief expatriate foray to New England  for a few years to work at Wang Laboratories,
we moved back to WNY to be closer to our kinfolk.
I took a job as a Software Developer at Eastman Kodak Company  in 1988, and worked there for 12 years.  In late January 2001,
I left Kodak to work at a small company called Global 360, Inc.    I decided to go BACK to (the new) Kodak in October
of 2008, and I really like it.  It's not the same Kodak, that's for sure.  And, I think, that's a good thing.

Teresa is my beautiful wife of nearly 23  years (Wow!), and she works as a Program Assistant in Donor Relations at
the University of Rochester, and loves it.

Here is my wonderful wife/friend/confidant/helpmeet/supporter/cheerleader for 23 years - Teresa.
Yeah, she puts up with wacky Bruce.

We've been blessed with two GREAT kids.  We really could not ask for better!

Jaimee is 9 years old already - hard to believe it.  She's going into 4th Grade!

Aaron (aka "Buck") is now 21 years old and in his last semester at Penn College.  He'll be getting
his BS in Automotive Technology Management.   He loves most anything automotive.  :-)

Check out his website at www.aaronrodgers.com

And, in true Brother/Sister fashion, they BATTLE at Super Mario Kart on the WII!

My Interests
I guess that one way to get to know me a little better is by discovering what I like.
So here goes . . .  I like to collect and trade old baseball gloves, and zippo lighters, play guitar, used to drive
my old '68 Chrysler 300 convertible (I sold it a while ago), go to Rochester Red Wings AAA baseball
games, and other fun stuff.

Another way to really get to know someone - especially someone who spends
as much time on the Internet as I do - is to learn their favorite sites:
