My Home Page: G. Bruce Rodgers

Hello fellow Internet surfer and welcome to my home page. I'm very glad that you made it this far . . . and I hope that you'll stick around long enough to get to know just a little bit more about me and my life.

Right off the "bat", perhaps you are looking for a bit of remembrance of your youth?
Well, then check these babies out:

This is me.

My Background
I grew up in the small, adjacent  towns of Geneseo and Groveland, New York, adjacent small towns
in Upstate Western NY,about 30 miles south of Rochester.
I went to Geneseo Central School, graduating way back in 1978, then went to school at SUNY Potsdam,
where I graduated in Dec 1983 with a sheet of paper that said I was a computer dude.
After getting married and a brief expatriate foray to New England  for a few years to work at Wang Laboratories,
we moved back to WNY to be closer to our kinfolk.
I took a job as a Software Developer at Eastman Kodak Company  in 1988, and worked there for 12 years.  In late January 2001,
I left Kodak to work at a small company called Global 360, Inc.    It's a great place to work and I really like it!

Teresa is my beautiful wife of 19 years (Wow!), and she works part-time at our Church, and
volunteers a lot for Guiding Eyes For the Blind, Inc., based in Yorktown Heights, NY.
She has raised several puppies for GEB, and is Assistant Area Coordinator at our local chapter - the
Monroe County NY Puppy Raising Region.

We've been blessed with two GREAT kids.  We really could not ask for better.

.

Jaimee is 5 years old already - hard to believe it.   She's still our little peanut, and
she loves horses and... preschool (vis. the cheesy grin)..

Aaron (aka "Buck") is now 18 years old and in the 11th  grade at Sperry High School in the Rush-Henrietta school district.
Check it out -  He's standing next to his ProTruck that he races on Saturday nights  at Black Rock Speedway in Dundee, NY.
We raced a partial season in 2004, and Buck finished 6th in his very first feature race this year!
He's looking forward to a great "Rookie" season in 2005.  With the truck all decked out in the new colors!   (Buck's design)
check out his website at www.aaronrodgers.com

Although bitten by the Stock Car Racing bug, he still likes motocross, is a big fan of
Kevin "K-Dub" Windham, and is "buds" with Supercross rider Joe Oelhof.
He plays Varsity  Volleyball for R-H - and LOVES it.

My Interests
I guess that one way to get to know me a little better is by discovering what I like.
So here goes . . .  I like to collect and trade old baseball gloves, and zippo lighters, play guitar, used to drive
my old '68 Chrysler 300 convertible (I sold it a while ago), go to Rochester Red Wings AAA baseball
games, and other fun stuff.

Another way to really get to know someone - especially someone who spends
as much time on the Internet as I do - is to learn their favorite sites:
